Steampunk beer

Post by duff »

Has anybody ever heard of a brewery called Steampunk?

The local Kroger had some 6 packs of Steampunk IPA and Steampunk Porter on it but I haven't been able to find any info abou them.

I liked drinking beer when playing Shadowrun back in the day, but I've never seen those beers before.

You sure it's not DieselPunk, I have seen that at my Kroger store. Looked up on beeradvocate and it's brewed by World Brews out of California, and the reviews there are just so-so.

Well even with me not correctly remembering the name the borg was able to come through andtell me what I really had seen. It explains why I couldn't find anything on the brewer.

After looking it up it appears the 3 different styles are each produced by a different company. And the reviews aren't all that impressive. I liked the styling of the packages but at $8.50 for a sixpack I'll go with something else.

Wise move, from a consumer standpoint. Check out the reviews and ask around before you let some clever packaging dupe you.
