It has happened to me too, with the same great service response. One thing that can help clean up is to put the fermenter in a bucket or pan that holds the wort volume. That way any spill is contained.

I thought about that as well.

But what I do now is put some cold water into the fermenter with the spigot secured and fastened to see if it will leak at all. I never knew that the spigot was so delicate and sensitive!

They actually sent me TWO spigots, but I'll order a few more just to keep on hand in case that problem happens again. :hammer:

Sam has been really good about that. I think that there are sturdier spigots on the market. Someone on the Borg may be able to point you in the right direction.

Yeah, also hopefully, Brewdemon will also someday offer more sturdier ones that won't break as easily. :clink:
