I'm guessing that you have to use all the same sized bottles, right? I ask only out of curiosity. Very cool project!

Very nice. Might have my son who has metal shop in HS now give me a hand on that. He is my asst. brewer. IH RED would be my choice if color though. Just saying. LOL

Yes and I thought a lot about that when building this. I had been toying with the idea of building a hydraulic or pneumatic bottle capper for a while. My initial ideas were to use a long stroke cylinder on a conventional capper frame. Then I seen this design in BYO Mag and watched the video and decided this guy already did the trial and error and it works as is so I just went by his plans and parts list except for the foot pedal. I sometimes do bottle a few 22 ouncers, but I can go back to the hand capper for them.Kealia wrote:I'm guessing that you have to use all the same sized bottles, right?

I have a couple old Farmalls that color too. I don't know why but I like painting things green.myhorselikesbeer wrote: IH RED would be my choice if color though. Just saying. LOL
My UDS (ugly drum smoker) I built and can't wait for good weather to start using again....
