My Poor brother BB2...

Post by Brewbirds »

...had a molar pulled today. It's been bugging him for a week or so but he kept blowing it off.

So far he's not suffering to badly after about four hours. He'd been pretty bummed and in pain now it's gone it will be grumpy and pain.

I don't know if I'll get much info from him for a day or two or three  but I'm going to do an update on our free wort project so I need you guys to check in and chime in there please.

Having a toothache or having one pulled sucks, but looking at the bright side, even with no teeth left, a steak or corn on the cob would be hard to eat, but beer would still go down just fine. :)
Hope he feels better soon.

Been there, done that. The worst part was being told you had to sneeze out loud and with the mouth open so you don't blow out the stitches. Everyone just thinks you're an ass hole for blowing snot all over the place

Tooth extraction is always tough to deal with immediately after, but he'll be glad he got it taken care of in the long run.

Feel better soon, BB2.

The silver lining to tooth extraction is the dentists write out scrips for the BEST pain meds.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

I just showed BB2 all of your best posts while he was slurping the watery pea soup I made him for dinner, poor guy, and he wishes to extend his thanks to you all for your best wishes and kind thoughts and comments.

He seems to have gotten off easy compared to what the follow home paperwork threatened and not having excessive bleeding or swelling so far.

I see many of you have been there/ done that so that you know the next thing to feel bummed about is no beer until he finishes the antibiotics.

Thanks to all of you for the kind words of encouragement; since he doesn't "forum" much it caught him by surprise to see you all rooting for him.

Once again I say THIS :borg: ROCKS
