I have great specific gravity

Post by Beer-lord »

Had my annual physical today. Last week had the yearly blood test and it was very good, thank God. After the physical, I had an EKG and found out I do have a heart (I have it in writing so my wife and secretary have proof). Then I had to pee in a bottle. 4 hours later they emailed my results. A Specific Gravity of 1.020.   FYI 1.005-1.030 is normal.
Can you imagine that I am actually normal? Go figure.
Sorry guys, it appears I'll be around to bother you all a bit longer unless something comes up.

That's great news. I'm afraid of my specific gravity. We do a health risk assessment at work. They prick your finger to get the blood, which isn't the most accurate. But my triglycerides and cholesterol were not good. When I get the report in writing it will be time to see my doctor to get a better test done.

Glad your gravity is in line....cause I love getting your beers in the mail!!!

I do take Lipitor since my cholesterol was semi high and it runs in the family but I'm doing good on it. You should talk to your doctor since it makes a difference to get this taken care of early. High triglycerides is not good, especially if it runs in your family.
I'll sell my urine if anyone needs a drug test. :laugh

Good news, Paul! Congratulations on a clean bill of health.

Your story reminds me of a joke I once heard.

A guy decides he's going to try to brew his own beer. So he buys the equipment and the ingredients, and he goes through the whole process, but before he tastes his first bottle, he thinks to himself, "I should send this to a lab so they can let me know if there are any impurities in it."

So he sends a sample off to a lab, and a week later he gets a reply from them. It says,

"Dear sir,

We have thoroughly analyzed the sample you sent us, and we regret to inform you that your horse has diabetes."
