Stone Cali-Belgique
If you like IPA's and you like Belgians....you really do need to try this. And at $5.50 for the bomber, it's priced pretty darn good too!!!

Re: Stone Cali-Belgique
It was odd for me. I like IPA's, and I love Belgian beer, but these two together just didn't seem to sit well with me. I thought the flavors of the american hops didn't play well with the Belgian characteristics of the beer. Then again I had this beer a while ago and my palette has definitely changed so maybe I will give it another shot!

I think my experience was similar to Yankfan's with this one. And his "pallete has changed" assessment is true for me as well, so I'm probably due for another taste of this as well...

Re: Stone Cali-Belgique
I've liked every "hopped up saison", IE a saison with more late hops added that I've made better then any commercial "Belgian IPA". I use Bella/French Saison in those, it make a dry tart citrusy beer, and the hops pop, and the peppery phenols go better with citrusy hops then cloves or apples/pears/banana/bubblegum.
