Winter Dark, bottled 10/29/2012. Still good 16 1/2 months later. Last one liter, only a 1/2 liter bottle remain.

I had one of those last week. Don't think it was 77 though. Damn good. Nice bitter flavor.
I drank all homebrew tonite....some Pliny and some Ace of Spades. I'm done for now. Gotta get ready for the Abita tour tomorrow.

76 was up for the last few weeks, so it was likely that. It was a pretty balanced, somewhat malty variety that I really liked. This one is west coast all the way, especially this young. Me likey...

Re: What are you drinking?
Right now, I'm drinking store-bought craft/micros, since my pipeline has stalled. I have a lot of beer conditioning; just none ready to drink yet.
So I'm having some Left Hand Sawtooth Ale and some Stone IPA.

Right now it's a black and tan using my Americn Ale and a Porter. Not as much separation as using a Guiness, but still there...
Re: What are you drinking?
Terrapin Mosaic Rye IPA. Apparently I'm either not a big fan of rye beers or I'm not a big fan of mosaic hops. My guess is rye beers.

Middletown Pale Ale
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Re: What are you drinking?
Actually had a porter that one of my wife's coworkers brewed, that he calls "Steampunk Porter". Was actually not bad! 2-row, C-60, pale chocolate, black patent. Chinook for bittering, Mosaic and Galaxy for finishing. WLP051 yeast. It had a nice toffee flavor with an aroma reminiscent of espresso.
