Naked Cat and the Suwanee Beer Festival

Post by Inkleg »

Well the results are in table 7 and 8, and just check out the co-brewers on the Saison.

Another IIPA (Pliny clone)

Aroma- 10/12 and 9/12
Appearance- 2/3 and 3/3
Flavor- 18/20 and 18/20
Mouthfeel- 5/5 and 4/5
Overall- 9/10 and 10/10
For a 44 and 44 for a total of 44. One judge put "I could drink this all day" the other recommended more finishing or dry hops  he should have tried it 3 months ago. :jumpy:

Zoo House Saison

Aroma- 10/12 and 9/12
Appearance- 3/3 and 2/3
Flavor- 18/20 and 18/20
Mouthfeel- 5/5 and 4/5
Overall- 9/10 and 9/10
For a 45 and 42 for a total of 43.5 This is the beer I sent to the nationals, lets see how it fairs there.

I am tickled to death with these scores. And want to thank those here who have shared their knowledge with me to make these beers what they are. :clink:

I'll post the score on my Biere de Garde when I get it.

good job, Jeff!
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
