Seattle

Post by FrozenInTime »

Looks like I might be headed there this year the end of Jun/1st of July. Will only be there a few days, would love to meet any of y'all in the area... even you, ya green old phart. If your still interested old green phart, we are talking about one day taking a charter fishing boat out for the day if your up to it. We discussed it earlier, think about it. Might happen soon.

Anyone in the area have any charter or other fishing suggestions whilst I'm there? I got the beer part taken care of.

Here's a little tune you can hum 'til you get there...

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

you know, I kinda remembered the song but could never remember what show it went with.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

If my work schedule holds as promised, I'll be getting off work Fri. at about 3am. and won't go back to work till Sun. at 6pm. As it gets closer, we can see how things go. If nothing else, just a hand shake and a BS session..

Won't this be like matter and anti-matter meeting in the same place, which would doom the universe?

Kewl. I'm hoping we get there early enough on sat. we can possibly meet at Pikes Brewery or somewhere. Possible just meet at a pizzeria and have some pie and suds. Keep that sat. open, will try to make it work.

I'm a little thunkin challenged at the moment, who else is it that lives in the area, Rebel and possibly someone else (?) but I'm toasted at the moment. We could make it a pie/suds party, that would be awesome!
