I had a Founders Breakfast Stout yesterday and was blown away by it. It has Kona coffee and chocolate additions. I would like to brew a version of this. Have any Borg members made this or another chocolate/ coffee stout that they could share some advice on how to brew?
Thanks

Re: Founders Breakfast Stout
BYO Magazine published a nice looking clone recipe that I've been wanting to brew...
I think I'll put it on deck and get to it this spring so it's aged for fall... Although it probably doesn't need that much aging time...

Re: Founders Breakfast Stout
That beer is great, I would love to clone it too. If you can ever get your hands on Kentucky Breakfast Stout, do it! It is truly one of my favorite stouts of all time, we get it every year and it never disappoints

Founders is coming to La in April and I'm looking for this and others by them.

Re: Founders Breakfast Stout
They are finally coming here to TN in April as well. Which likely means we missed KBS this year, but should get Old Crumudgeon. I have faithfully hauled Founders back from my Indiana trips for years, so it's great to finally be able to get Centennial and the like here on tap and in bottles...
