Lunch date
with my 6 year old grand-daughter, Ayla Rose. What a treat as she dressed herself up, had mommy do her hair and we actually breakfast for lunch. Grandkids have a way of making us proud, no matter who they are and what they say and do. She took me out to Le Coco's, a fine French restaurant here in Mesa, otherwise known as Coco's nationwide. She was very polite and bent the waiter's / server's ear a few times but very polite nonetheless. Thanks Ayla for keeping me young!!!

You're a lucky guy, you.
Both of my "children" are old enough to have children of their own (28 and 24) but I don't quite feel old enough to be a Grandpa. But some day I hope to be as cool of a Grandpa as you.

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
