I am a man of many, many realms and I like all things except things that I don't like. Wait.......nevermind.

Count me among the "I like" people. I won't get it all the time though - too spendy.

Just leaving Denver and had to post....I had a Lasso IPA from Great Divide last night and it was touted as a "session IPA" on the beer menu.

It reminded me just how good the GoTo really is. They did not pull it off - no aroma, very little hop flavor, just bitter and light.
I got Swen'd.

Still drinking on the job heh Ron? Not good, not good at all.

I've read so much about this beer the last 2 weeks and more and more reviews are coming out semi-negative. I guess with the Stone name you expect more but I should be albe to find some this week to opine.

You read Ron's post wrong Paul. Are you sure you've not been drinking. I rearranged it so it might make better sense. I'm enjoying a GoTo right now. This is a good beer.

Well, if he was out of town for work.....nah, that's pushing it too far. My bad.
No, I can't even use drinking as an excuse. Would you go for just plain stupidity? I already know the answer.

I will be picking up a 6'r of this weekend, among other things most likely. Going out to dinner with a group of friends Saturday and next to the resturant is an amazing beer store.

Well, I've only had the one bottle. But I found the bitterness sharp, and the body and malt flavor too light. My wife didn't like it much either. We appear to be the lone dissenters on this forum. Fight the powers! :)

And that is why I like it. For a 4.5% beer it's a good IPA. I wouldn't call it too light, more like just right for a light session IPA.
My In-laws just picked up a 6 pack to have at their house for when I swing by to watch their cat next week. I get a beer from the fridge as I go in, sit enjoy the beer a cat company and go home.

To each his own, Ink. But I like other session IPAs, Founders for instance.

You are probably more of an "East Coast/English" IPA guy. The Stone is very much "West Coast" oriented.

I like both, although most of my own IPAs tend to lean more East Coast/English too.

Maybe, but without looking into the styles, I love Green Flash WCIPA and Sierra Torpedo. Even Stone Ruination. I'm not done with the Stone Go To by any means. I still have the rest of the sixpack!

Thanks for clarifying that - I was on the plane and trying to type quickly before I had to turn the phone off so my thoughts got a bit jumbled.

GoTo = like
Lasso = dislike

Stone = good
Great Divide = bad

I would definitely agree with this. It's West Coast all the way, which is the way I prefer my IPAs so it's no surprise that I like this.
