Homemade wort chiller?

Re: Homemade wort chiller?
This may become a priority. Between my wort chiller and my hot water heater burner I wasn't sure which one first. But, after it took almost 30 minute to cool my wort yesterday, I know that there is no way I can use the burner and not have a chiller.

Re: Homemade wort chiller?
Just found out I added about 2 hours to my first AG brew day for no reason! My digital probe thermometer is off (high) by aprox 20 deg.! I was freaking out that my wort wasn't cooling far enough down, new fermenting bucket forgot to pick up the stick on thermometer and didn't put my top off water in the fridge, I said the heck with it and pitched at what I thought was 82 put the bucket in the basement on top of an ice pack, put the stick on and found it at 57. Put a stick-on onto a cold jug of water and the probe in, probe read 66, stick-on 46. Now I have to wake the yeast up.
