To give credit where credit us due, this recipe came from Brad Smith @ BeerSmith (no idea where he got it).
I haven't done these in a while but I think I know what I'm doing tonight.

Yum! Lots of good ideas and pairings. I might have to try that recipe as well, Kealia. Currently, I am experimenting with the soft pretzel recipe featured in the book "Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day" by Jeff Hertzberg and Zoe Francois. With a little tweaking, I have been very satisfied thus far. Not to mention the dough makes incredible bagels as well.

BB, Have you ever visited http://brooklynbrewshop.com/themash/cat ... grainchef/? I have yet to try any of the recipes, but they all sound good to me! My dogs love their spent-grain biscuits, but I am overdue to attempt a few human-friendly recipes...Brewbirds wrote:Dang what an idea I have a freezer filled with ZipLock bags of spent grain.

Everytime I've tried to bake bread it stays dough (DOH!!!) in the middle.lindseywinstead wrote:BB, Have you ever visited http://brooklynbrewshop.com/themash/cat ... grainchef/? I saved it to bait honey holes to fish in but there is currently only 3 quarts of water in my lake so no fishing for me any time soon.

Might catch a guppie or two in the amount of water, DAYUM that drought is killing Texas and from what I hear, California as well. Praying for rain for you Brewbirds and in moderation, kind of like drinking but not brewing!!!Brewbirds wrote:Everytime I've tried to bake bread it stays dough (DOH!!!) in the middle.lindseywinstead wrote:BB, Have you ever visited http://brooklynbrewshop.com/themash/cat ... grainchef/? Thanks T8r, yeah it is pretty bad. They have on emergency water conservation measures so we can't use the water but the water rates are going to go up.
Lovin' gub'ment right now.
