Another Reason To Love Homebrewing

Post by DaYooper »

Yup, started canning food to get away from the garbage they put in food. Started butchering to avoid all those hormones and junk they feed livestock. But, I started brewing because I love beer and love to brew. I didn't know at the time I was avoiding yet more krap. Not that I ever drank many on this list anyways.

Fish bladder is used as a fining and has been for years. While it sounds disgusting it is quite safe and not any worse than using entrails as sausage skin.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

The thing about GMO corn is that, unless you've got a strand of heirloom corn where the kernels grow in tassels, all cob corn we consume today is genetically modified.

This is a scary thread and that is all I'm going to say.

I fully expect to die because someone was texting while driving so I will no longer examine food safety issues, cancer, or resistant bacterias.

not even half of it.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

So then are you saying I should be worried about this lonely French super model that I met on the internet and going to meet for the first time tonight?
