That's my girl!

Post by FedoraDave »

Some of you may know that my daughter works in a publishing house in New York City.

She and I had the following text exchange this morning.

Daughter: Daddy, be proud. Ima work on the second edition of The Beer Book for DK. 352-page reference title with a catalog of world beers.

Me: WANT!!

Daughter: I'll have to work on it over my birthday, but I figured you'd kill me if I didn't take it.

Me: I would have been disappoint.

So when you buy it, be sure to buy the second edition. It will have been worked on by my daughter!

Cool... congrats to her. You should get her to work on the glaring lack of Yazoo in the last edition of that book... ;)

Swen, I will mention that to her. More quality craft and nanos should be included.

Whether she has any clout as far as this is concerned remains to be seen.
