Our spring is short and we get right into summer temperatures very fast. But this year has been special. Though a colder and wetter winter, our spring has lasted longer with more to come.
Highs in the 70s, lows in the low 60's, breezy and sunshine. If it wasn't that this is my busiest season and I miss lots of things (like the French Quarter Fest today), I would love it more.
So, came home from work, did my 1 hour at the gym and found a Stone 17th Anniversary Götterdämmerung IPA in my fridge from long ago. It's still perfectly good. Might be missing a bit of the nose but hey, it's paid for, cold and mine!

Yep. We were in the seventies today up here in Minny-snow-da. Back into the forties tomorrow. But I actually got some bug splatters on the windshield today. Sure sign of spring there.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Our Spring here in western NY lasts a long time, sometimes into the middle of Summer, but it is nice here today and the weekend looks good, but by Tues calling for 26 - 37 deg. and snow. I'm making the best of it and have been working outside since I've been home from work, just came in to have a beer and check the computer and going back out until dark.

Cook 'em and eat 'em. Tobacco takes the bitterness out of the insects, give that a try!
