Brewers Association World Beer Cup 2014 Champion Brewery and Brewmaster

Large Brewpub
Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant, Topeka, KS
John Dean

This is the brew pub here in Topeka. John Dean comes to our home brew club meetings. He is the one filled 9 carboys with left over Kolsch wort and used a different yeast in each one. He is bringing 3 of each to the club meetings until we try all 9. That was where I learned just how much of a difference yeast makes. I knew it made a significant difference but I really had no idea just how significant.

Anyway this is exciting news about our local brew pub.

Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

The pub supports us also. They provide a free place for our home brew club to meet.

That's totally cool. I'll definitely look him up at the GABF this year. Capt Lawrence, DeCicco Family Markets, & The Simple Brewer support my home brew club, "Hop'D",. :flag:
