The perfect weather for a boil. Just the family showed up at my mom's house for a relatively impromptu get together. Found an old beer in her fridge my brother in law brought during Christmas. Kind of old but it was still ok. East Coast IPA, malty, hoppy but with little nose. No review needed.
We went thru 84 lbs of crawfish, jambalaya, and a zillion other things. I feel extra heavy tonite.

Happy Easter everyone!

Well, I only ate 72 lbs of it.
We've boiled as much as 300 before but that's a lot of work. This was easy.

What's better than potatoes in a crawfish boil? Potato salad the next day made with those potatoes. Spicy & Yummy!

Ahhhh, Monty Python thrown in to get an invite. Better come soon before crawfish season is gone. I'm just about 30 minutes away from making them potatoes pass thru my mouth.

Paul, I think I've ask this question before but is this a decent deal. It's hard to find good crawfish around here if you can find them at all.

Not at all but with the warmer weather and Easter over they expect the price to drop .80 a pound next week. You really want "Belle River" crawfish if you can get it in place of farm but Belle River crawfish are seasonal while farm ones grow all year and are too clean and don't have as much flavor. WE get what we can but during season, ask for Belle River.
I have no idea what their seasoning is like but we use cajunland brand and add onions, garlic, celery, lemon, tobacco, cayenne, worstershire, lots of bay leaves and a bit more salt.

Why don't I just bring a few sacks by next week and we can set, drink and solve all the worlds problems?

Ok, if there IS a good place to order online and have them shipped to California please let me know. I'd actually like to try these out for myself given the pictures I've had to endure for the past couple of years here.

We wants mudbugs in California!!
(Seriously, let me know if there is a good source)
