Everyone's odds just got better at winning that Signature Kit. I didn't realize there was so much to this. I am guaranteed not to win this!!! WOW....I'm not sure I have time to do all that research, but I'm sticking with it. Don't laugh at me when I draft a guy with a broken leg.

BB#1 Here I will suggest to BB#2 that the tap room is probably what he is thinking about re: bragging and trash talking and show him how to get in.

Great info BB2! Prime example of why I never win my leagues...

TBH, I do a little research before hand, but not much. I tend to pick the names I know, then fill in from teams that I like. I will do a fair amount of drops and pickups from the waiver wire once things get going though. If nothing else, it gets me more interested in other games that are on TV when I can't watch my favorite teams.

I will give the special area some thought, but at this point I would lean toward keeping the conversation in this thread, the Taproom, or on the Fleaflicker message boards. Doesn't look like there is universal interest in FF this amongst our members at this point (not even 10% have expressed interest in joining the league), so I wouldn't want to clutter the board with categories that have limited appeal. Never say never though...

Thanks again for the tips, and keep em coming!

One week until draft day! We currently have 10 Borgites participating. We can go with a 10 team league, as we have the numbers for that. Next level is 12 (which is what I have the league set up for). Will put the top number of teams at 14. So whoever the first 4 are that send me a PM with their email address will be in. Draft day is Sunday, August 25 at 6PM CT.

Remember that first place wins a BrewDemon Signature Kit courtesy of Sam at BrewDemon!!

Not sure if you have me still in the league. I have too much going on right now so give my spot away to someone who can commit to the league.

So...do we all need to be online during the draft. Can you explain how it works. I've never done it before.

It's more fun if you are online during the draft (since your can talk smack in the chat area), but it isn't required. You can rank players ahead of time in the order you would like to try and draft them. That way if you can't make it online, the system will automatically take the next player on your list. If someone else already has that player, it will take the first available player on your list. If you don't set a list, the system will select the best available player that you need to fill out your roster based on their overall rating.

Bottom line is, you can choose the level of detail you want to go into. Kind of like brewing!

Blackduck you should be fine even if you do not wish to enter the info because the league has a default ranking that will be used automatically and I looked at the list, its not terrible.

You would do BETTER entering rankings for the first 3 rounds or so (looks like 30 players).

If you do not want to spend time ranking you can either buy a cheatsheet from something like espn or rotowire, or just print a free one:
yahoo http://sports.yahoo.com/news/fantasy-fo ... 13147.html
usatoday http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/fa ... s/2627007/

Also, everyone shout go do a 'mock draft' on our league website just to get a feel for how the draft works, and test your system will work.
