When they start making them ported, I'll switch from using my better bottles. You've gotta love the wide mouth though.

I want a 3-3.5 gallon version to be made.. glass or plastic, doesn't matter.

How about stainless? A bit more money, but will outlast you :) I've been considering a 25-30 liter one for a fermenter for a while now... but I have buckets that work just fine.

If money is an issue, how about a 3-gallon corny for $50? Or 4 of them for $125? You could fit them with splunding valves, ferment and carbonate at the same time.

holy carp! 125 for four of them?! talk about a deal! i don't know what a splunding valve is, or a MFL, but man I'm very tempted.

And if you live in MI Check out AIH's Michigan shipping rate it was $5. That was what they charged last month when I order a 55# sack of grain.

Wow, that is almost cheaper than driving the few miles down the road!!! And in the long run it would save me big bucks by not walking out spending twice what I intended when I walked in - and that is if I am lucky.

I hear ya!! The A^2 store is 50 miles from me. I always spend too much, oh look what else I can get since I saved so much on shipping.
