FIRST KEG
Tapped my first keg this afternoon and I must say it is DAMN a good summer Wheat Ale
Naturally carbed at room temp for 3 weeks then 2 weeks at 38 degrees
I think I was supposed to tap it and put CO2 on it for a few days before drinking it but I couldn't resist trying it
Ive have 4 or 5 glasses since and it is just RIGHT ( and so am I)
Head is perfect, Carb is perfect
VERY GOOD Beer
Will be transferring a Lager to keg tomorrow
And ordering another keg for my SNPA Clone that will be ready for bottling in a week or so

It is always nice to take another brewing step.
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.

Re: FIRST KEG
Congrats! I have only found one downside to kegging so far. My beer tends to run out sooner than when I bottled...
Fermenting: Bucket 1 - Fresh Squeezed IPA; Bucket 2 - Empty
Kegged: Keg 1 - Irish Red; Keg 2 - Cream Ale; Keg 3 - Amber Ale; Keg 4 - APA; Keg 5 - Empty; Keg 6 - Empty; Keg 7 - Empty
The reason why the above list is so small Home Theater Build

Re: FIRST KEG
Congrats, I pulled my first glass, from my first keg also, of my MO Freedom SMaSH that has been on CO2 for a week and a half. Very nice to not have to spend the excessive amount of time cleaning and sanitizing 50 bottles then filling and capping. Gonna be so nice to bottle 1 liter or growlers from the keg to take to the camper!
Just might be my go to session beer!
