S-04 is some active stuff, less then 8 hours and it was arising fast!
Re: Spring Fever brew
Bottled. Was in the LBK for 4 weeks. Sample was very basic, will see how this goes after conditioning.
Re: Spring Fever brew
I know what maltodextrin is, but what is Rice syrup solids? Is it fermentable, or a non-fermentable?
Re: Spring Fever brew
Rice Syrup Solids are the dry form of Rice Syrup.
They are fermentable adjuncts that are added in small quantities to Some American and Japanese beer styles to lighten their body and dry them out a bit.
I used Rice Syrup Solids in a Cream Ale instead of a Corn Adjunct.

Re: Spring Fever brew
Going to have try Rice Syrup Solids. Every time I brew a cream ale there is too much of a corn flavor for me. I don't think it is an off flavor because I am the only one complain about it.

Cracked open the first one tonight. Basic straight forward, although not sure how the cascade and Hallertau are playing off of each other.
