Re: What are you drinking?
Ok hold on to your taste buds and do not try to find my location of the fridge where these beers are kept!
I went on a beer run yesterday. all and all it was a 400 mile round trip, had to make some other stops along the way but my goal was simple, go to the best beer store I know of. ( name and location withheld). Heres what I scored.
in order of witch ones I tried first.
1 monks café Flemish sur ale , made in Belgium
2 ter dolen kriek limburgs Belgium ale
3 Alaskan summer kolsch ale
4 new glarus moon man
5 central waters glacial trail ipa
6 goose island ten hills pale ale
7 new glarus snowshoe ale
8 new glarus back 40 bock.
then of course we got some 12 packs of some other favs for fishing opener. If the fish do not bite I will not mind. now mind you this is not a common occurrence for me to make such a run and my home brew is all good but I needed to get some ideas for my next brew session. MISSION OCOMPLISHED ..

At the taproom today, catching up with some friends. Found myself drinking a Pale Ale cask dryhopped with El Dorado and Centennial. Followed that with a 2013 vintage Brett Saison...

Last bottle of Punked Patriot. Which I will actually miss having around, even though it was easy mode beer.

Had to get up early to mow the lawn, diagnose a bad air compressor (looks like a defective pressure relief valve), repair a leaky tub faucet, plant a row of tulip bulbs for next year, move my Grodziskie to cold crash, clean and sanitize two cases of long necks and walk the dog. Oh yeah, had lunch too!

"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
