Interesting brewing times in Nashville

Post by swenocha »

Lots of action in the local breweries in terms of packaging.

Yazoo is ramping their sour program, with four sours bottled so far, and a promise of more to come...

Their new summer wheat ale also hit the shelves in the last week or so, and it is outstanding...

And, of course, I've chronicled the happenings at my local brewery, Cool Springs Brewery, with their bottle launch (even sent one out to one of our members). I worked on labeling a few thousand of those bottles...

Fat Bottom cans should be hitting the shelves in the next week or so...

Also, I worked a canning/labeling day at Jackalope. We canned their Thunder Ann Pale, which is quite good, and also labeled their new LoveBird (berry wheat ale) for Friday's release...

Finally, Turtle Anarchy (my other local brewery) announced plans to open up a larger brewery in Nashville, with cans on the shelves by year end.

With all of this, and other start-ups getting in motion, it's a great time to enjoy the beer scene in Nashville... Anything new going on at your local breweries?

Had the CSB brews at DeCicco's Brewster NY & Armonk NY - I hope they are all at the GABF. I'm putting these guys on my list for this year for sure. Great brews! Sounds like you're in beer heaven! Cheers Swen :flag:

Yes Swen we're getting brews from all over now. I forgot I even had it until you posted about them. I had the "Morning Wood". Luckily, it only lasted 4 hours or I would have had to call the Doctor. Like what's he going to do, hook me up to a milking machine. I love those commercials that say if your erection lasts too long call a doctor. I say head to Vegas.

That looks like the best day ever. I could go for more of that pecker wrecker IPA.

On one of the "brew goals for the year" threads that were posted in December or January, I mentioned that I wanted to do a brewday at a local brewery. Got an email today from one of the breweries mentioned above that that is a go... we just need to figure out the best day to make it happen. Of course, my ultimate goal is to brew my own recipe at one of the breweries, but baby steps...
