Where is everyone?

Post by Beer-lord »

On vacation? It's been pretty dead on the forum lately.
Don't make me tell you stories of 'walking to school in the snow wearing burlap underwear and no shoes when I was a kid'. You don't have enough tears.

Work is in front of a computer for me, so you can usually tell if I'm knee deep in a project and working evenings if I come around and post more often (like this last week or so)...

I check in all the time, but only sign in when there's something, I think, I can add to like this topic. I did make an ass-kicking pale ale on big brew day. Just tapped & I love it. Had to disconnect the tap or I would have finished the whole keg last night. :flag:

I spend the day trying to find someone's little lost dog (not mine) on a 400 acre research farm - that has many ponds, streams, steep ravines, old ruined structures and a healthy number of coyotes.

I was all mad at my SAR dog for being a dooface and acting like she just wanted to go back to the car and go home, but then I go back to my car and find a note on the window saying they found his dog, and it was like 10 minutes after I went out on my excursion.

I should have listened to the dog.

I check in now and then, but I've been working extra-long days lately, as it's our busy season (not to mention the end-of-month crunch). So I'm a little too tired for interactive social media sites at the end of the day.

Hi, I'm over here now. Typically brewers' take a bit of a hiatus once the warmer weather arrives, it was 92 here on Memorial Day for instance. That won't be stopping me from posting new and exciting threads this summer though, I finally get to start building my new brewroom starting in July, right after we move into our new place! Posts that are of interest to me are mostly about electric BIAB setups, processes and recipes because of the research I'm doing before buying what's needed.

I've been a bad boy with not being active, sorry. Work has been a killer lately. Self employed and have been traipsing all over the state for business. Too much windshield time.
