My wife and I had a great time at the race yesterday. Perfect weather and a great race. It is fun to get together with 250,000 + of your closest friends. Jim Nabors sang "Back Home in Indiana" for the last time at Indy, and there was a great pre-race tribute to our military.
Brought two half growlers of local craft brews and I was pleasantly surprised that there was a beer truck with other local beers. Beer, Brats and racing! Overall a great day.

Looks like you had some good seats too.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Doc - I was there, too. Great race, great weather, great vacation - a nice trifecta!
I've been there every year since 1975, with the exception of 2006.
I was in B-Stand, top row: On Friday, I like to sit in "the really good seats" for Carb Day: The Indy Lights race that day had a great finish, too!
I tried some really good local brews while in town, too:
Sun King - Osiris Pale Ale
Fountain Square - Soul Ride IPA
Flat12 Bierwerks - Hello My Name Is Amber Ale
That was another nice trifecta.

Crazy Climber:
I'm not particularly crazy (IMO), and I don't rock-climb. It's just the name of a video game I used to like to play, back in the 80's.
