Well?
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Summer is upon us...finally. I for one have been spending much more time outside with the family and neighbors. Having fun watching the kids play together while the adults sit back on the deck and enjoy some good conversation and of course good beer!!!

I was all mad at my SAR dog for being a dooface and acting like she just wanted to go back to the car and go home, but then I go back to my car and find a note on the window saying they found his dog, and it was like 10 minutes after I went out on my excursion.

I should have listened to the dog.
Then you didn't go searching for a lost dog, you on a nice hike with your dog!!! Positive spin eh? :jumpy: :jumpy:

Backs been hurting since last weekend...not felt inclined to spend a lot of time in front of the 'puter

I will drain that glass again.

Spring is always a busy BUSY time with chores getting done at two houses. To top it off, me and the lil lady are trying to see if a winery might be in our not so distant future. Exciting times!

Well, I've been here. What am I, chopped liver?
Just kidding. I noticed it's been slow too. And between working on the boat and the house, I haven't brewed in three weeks. All my fermenters are empty. :(

Working!

This past weekend was my oldest daughter's wedding, so preparation for that was over the top, plus I cleaned out most of my pipeline
thanking the bridesmaids and groomsmen with 6 packs of tasty homebrew! :jumpy:

Also, like another said earlier, I'm here quite often, just lurking until I see something I can add to or peaks my curiosity!

Took your command to heart so I brewed a First Pitch Pilsner Mod with an extra ounce of AHS Hop Dust added to give me a nice Summertime Pale Ale come August!!!

Me? Been working my arse off trying to get the outside chores done. Going to be a short summer of which I'm going to be gone alot. Too much to do, too little time. I was looking forward to summer, but now it's here, no so much. I had forgotten about the 1 million skeeters per square foot we have. Yeesh..... Took 3 days to mow the yard, another couple to get the garden tilled, another day to plant, now my freaking yard needs mowed again. That will be another couple days. Need to paint/finish construction on one barn, replace another one's roof and doors and a larger chicken coop to build, it never ends. I'm only on here now because it's raining out again and the skeeters go really nuts when it's raining. Go figure.
Life is short, live it to it's fullest!

I work mostly nights, so I'm at work when most of y'all are on. I catch up around 04:30 PST. I'm mashing grains right now, about 1/2 to go. Then the boil.

Yeah, I've been brewing all along; every weekend, just to get the pipeline to keep pace with my consumption. As I mentioned, work has made me busier than a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest, so I haven't had the time or energy to be the usual loquacious bastidge around here.

I'm hoping June calms down a little so I can hang out here and annoy everyone.
