Bottled 5 gallons of Oatmeal Stout extract recipe, used concentrated cold brew coffee for 13 bottles - six with an ounce, seven with 1.5 ounces.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Saturday I brewed a batch of my Bourbon Barrel Pale Ale, since I just realized I had finished drinking the prior batch.
Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
I did a Lemon Coriander Weiss from Midwest Sunday. My first time with a burner and it was great to be able to do the entire 5G boil in less than 3 pots on the stove.
Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
I bottled my Lawn-mower Pilsner on Sunday, came in at 5.2 ABV so a little higher than I expected

Bottled 2.5 gallon batch of my favorite lawnmower beer, Ol' Mr Beer High Country Canadian Draft Deaux, came in at 4.5%, which works for me.

It must be the season. I'm cooling 5g of Centennial Blonde.

Bottled AmaCitra Saison and 05 ElDorado yesterday.
Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Not brewing anything this weekend as lucked out and got myself a 4x2x2' soon-to-be-kegerator. I also have my Clutter Buster nugget just abour ready to bottle, but seeing as it is SWMBOs favorite it wont last long so I thinks me needs to get the CO2 refilled and put it on gas. Next in line is Centennial Blonde. Hopefully that will beef up the pipeline so I can start working on getting some longer term bottle conditioning beers in the works.

Citra Blonde went into bottles today! Finally!
Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Just kegged 5 gallon of Zoo House Saison 565.
Use White Labs WLP565 Saison yeast, pitched at 68* and ramped the temperature up to 85* by the end of week one. FG is 1.004, so I think it's done.

I hear great things about this Zoo House Saison.... Maybe I'll have to barter with you for some.Inkleg wrote:Just kegged 5 gallon of Zoo House Saison 565.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
This zoo house version of his should be a good bit different then the other - There is a big flavor difference between Belgain saison and French saison yeast, especially if you get you fermentation temps up. I like both but personally prefer the French (and loved the Zoo House with it), but if you like DuPont then you would like the Belgian better.
Anyways, I bottled the Wai Iti Wheat saison today, so now I just need to wait for a few weeks and can try the "American" wheat version and the "Saison" version side by side. It was like 0.98, and has been that way for a week. 11.5g pack of Bella Saison does bad things to 2.5 gallons of 1.047 beer at 72-74 degrees. It tasted like a WIT beer crossed with a bone dry Saison. I think I like the Wai Iti. I know I like Bella Saison.
I can tell they will both be nice summer beers for the small effort I put into them. They both tasted good at bottling.
