I hadn't used whirfloc in my last several brews. I threw half a tablet into Ralph's Old Time 80 Shilling Ale the last 5 minutes of the boil and check out the hydrometer sample :)

That is clear...
I use it everytime since someone here recommended it. It does it's job. I wish I knew a way to not leave so much brew in the kettle though. I tried a nylon mesh bag last time, but as soon as it got to the "mass", it plugged instantly...

Yuppirs! Use it in pretty much every batch except for those meant to be cloudy. Good stuffs!

Yah when I forget to use it ... I really notice the cloudy beer.
