Beer Desserts

Post by swenocha »

We've all seen the ice cream floats made with stouts, and the local ice cream/popsicle/gelato places have some great options made with meads and Yazoo beers, but here are some other interesting beer based desserts:

Berlinner Weisse Creamsickle Pie

More recipes at Draft Magazine linky. I may try to make a few of these. I made their Yazoo Dos Perros bread last week, and it was quite tasty.

I don't have time to make either one right now but I got plenty of time to ride my bike down to the local DQ.

CYA! :)
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
