You would use a Russian can opener, naturally! ;) Here's what it looks like (and no, I have not a clue where to get one of these in the States):

PapaG's suggestion would also work, provided it can grab the edge of the lid.
In Soviet Russia, beer brews you!
My brews

Strawberry Rhubarb Wheat (5-gal)(AG)
Cranberry Mead
Buck-Flower Mead
Flanders Red (5-gal)(AG) x 2
On Tap:

Successfully bottled into plastic bottles that I last used very early in my brewing adventure. Taste is all rye bread in the sample... very nice.

FG 1.005, so hit 2% on the head. 65 calories per bottle, according to the ole calculator, so this is truly a light beer in all respects.

Only got 2.2 gallons bottled. The yeast really didn't cake so much, so I was pretty conservative and left some of the more murky stuff behind. $3 (plus maybe $1 of sugar and free yeast) for 2 gallons ain't too bad.

Do you prime this, and if so, how much? I still got to get to my eastern European deli/store and see if they have this stuff..

I decided to lightly prime them using an ESB level prime. Some of the bottles are already pretty solid.
