Nice
Re: 05 El Dorado Ale
Want to know how this turns out. I have 3# wheat dme and 2oz of El-Dorado and some Notty and S-05 here. I almost did something similar today but then discovered I had time to mash so I did something else instead.

I haven't used this hop yet, so I am excited to see what it produces.mashani wrote:Want to know how this turns out. I have 3# wheat dme and 2oz of El-Dorado and some Notty and S-05 here. I almost did something similar today but then discovered I had time to mash so I did something else instead.
Re: 05 El Dorado Ale
Came out to 4.8% ABV and 13 IBUs on Brewers friend.
Re: 05 El Dorado Ale
This came out really good. Tropical fruit flavor was there. Like it a lot, the combo of 05 and ElDorado is good, very tasty.
Re: 05 El Dorado Ale
Did you get a hoppy bite at all? I'm normally a bit of a hophead, but I've found I like my wheat beers subdued.

Not a huge hop bite. Nice flavor.
