I just got the new GI Joe movie "Retaliation"

But it is too damn nice outside to be sitting in the man cave watching it. Will do one of my thorough reviews later. For now I am lounging on my patio enjoying the fruits of my labor.

It's been amazingly cool here too with that 'gonna be a storm/not gonna be a storm' out in the gulf. Never made it to 80 today and the norm is 95. So, we went to the dog park and let Charlie think he still has his parts and watched as he tried to molest other dogs. He has no idea he's not capable.

Anyway, I think the first Joe movie was better than this one and it was somewhat corny but you might like it more than I do.
I'm likely gonna give Oblivion a try soon though I heard it's bad.

Oblivian was very bad.

After watching this movie here are my thoughts. The caveat is that I had a few home brews on the patio ahead of time and a few more during.

If you like a good fantasy sci fi action this movie delivers

If you like enhanced martial arts for entertainment sake this movie delivers

If you like the old Roger Moore James Bond movies you will like this one. The sets and scenery were really good

If you like the Rock and Bruce Willis they have great parts in this movie

This movie had a coherent story line following up on the first movie. It really lit up my plasma TV.

Bottom line it was worth $20 for the blu ray and I will definitely be watching it again.
