Finishing the end of a keg of ginger saison homebrew, kegged on 6/8/14; 7.7% ABV. This one is quite flavorful. It was interesting to brew: 3 step mash, adding freshly grated ginger root to the last 22 to 7 minutes of the boil, every minute. Looks like i'll brew this one up again this summer!

Dag, I've heard that you have never refused a beer! Anyway, the choice was Miller Light tap or Bud Light bottle. And I didn't want to try washing down the chicken wings with pride! :)

Had one of Phil's Summer Quenchers. Perfect name as I had one after mowing the lawn and it hit the spot! A simple, crisp and clean beer that left me wanting another.

Last night had dinner with friends. Brought my Irish Hills Red and Peanut Butter Oatmeal Stout. Both were enjoyed. Drank some of their store-bought beer, St. Pauli Girl, didn't enjoy that much at all.

Nothing for the next few days.....beer fest yesterday and I think I sprained my kidney....or liver......or maybe my spleen, I dunno.

Taking a few days off to cleanse the system after the hop assault yesterday. Going to workout now and hopefully sweat some out. Not feeling hungover, just beered-out.

What is this nonsense you speak?

I'm drinking the Blonde Bier de Garde that I made that tastes a lot like Jenlain. Except maybe even better. I would have entered it in a competition, but it got some kind of critter chewing on it in the bottle and it ended up over carbed - no gushers, no off flavors, but now it's starting to become "foamers" as such. So I threw all of it in the fridge, and I'm just drinking that until it's gone. It's really delicious, just over carbed.
