Look what I ordered!

Post by Beer-lord »

I may get the adapter for natural gas in the future but for now, I'm sticking with propane. Yesterday was my last day using my trusty burner and it's only going to be used for seafood boils a few times a year.
It's expensive and should last forever and make my brew day less painful on my aching knees and back.
And of course I got free shipping!!!!!

Hi Paul,

Looks like a real nice burner...

But I am concerned that the extended legs will not provide enough stability for a big ol' pot o' wort!

So as to not endanger yourself nor your family, I recommend you...

Send it to me for extended testing! As a certifiable testing lab for all things beer,

I should be able to complete the testing in a few short years or so... Maybe... :laugh

Sure will. And I'll also send you 5 full corny kegs full of the beer of you choice as well as custom glasses personally etched. :lies:
Oh, and of course, a coupon for the latest Blichman electric brewery for which I will come by and custom build you a brewhouse.

Wow that's nice
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

It came in today. After work then the gym, I'll try to play with it if I have time and post pics for those who like beer porn.

Well, the other items I ordered from Rebel Brewer came in today but the burner comes directly from Blichman and may take another week or two. No worries, I won't be brewing until then anyway.
But I did sleep at a Holiday Inn a long time ago!

Came in this week and it's put together now.
Sometime soon I'll run a test boil with water as I tweak the fine tuning of the flame. Should be doing another brew in about 2 weeks or so.

You are going to love it. I have the same one. Brings 10, 12 gallons to a boil in no time. Just watch for boil overs they happen fast with this beast!

I tried it out on an almost empty tank and it was so quiet, I had to make sure I could see it was on. This is going to be a joy to brew on. I'm stoked with my new toy.
I'd love to be able to go electric but that's not possible without a great deal of money and effort in my home so this is the next best thing.
