Starting out on wrong foot?
Going to brew this weekend at my in-laws cottage (they're in assisted living) for the first time. Made a temp controller for their freezer, have ice in it for the cool down. Bought ingredients today and made one mistake right away (so they told me to toss it). Got home, realized that I made the White House Honey Porter bag with a pound of Crystal 120 instead of Crystal 20... So it won't be as sweet. Already has Black Malt and Chocolate Malt in it. Such is life.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. And if your first step is not in the direction you intended then you are simply going somewhere else. Such is life...RickBeer wrote:Starting out on wrong foot?
