Southern Tier "Live" on the local strip with some of my grown kids.
Re: What are you drinking?
I have been sharing my Viking Steam Beer (steam beer but with dark crystal malt and juniper berries) and my Amarillo Delta Rye Pale Ale and my Amarillo Kolsch and the Bier von Apollo (German festbier meets IPA with Apollo hops) with some friends who had never had homebrew before. And they just kept sucking the things down, telling me it was better then the Deschutes beers they had been drinking all week and I think they were serious, not just being nice based on how enthusiastically they consumed it. So now my pipeline is seriously hurt when it comes to these. I guess I'm making all 4 of these beers again when the weather cools down and entering them in competition in god-knows-what category. I do have a few bottles of each left, which I am not going to give them LOL.
Re: What are you drinking?
My Lawnmower de Saison, I think the best beer I've brewed so far. I'd like to save a bottle or two for the Secret Santa next winter, but I really don't see that happening

Started with a Wee Heavy, followed by a Grand Bohemian Pilsner. Two very different beers but both very good.
Re: What are you drinking?
Some homebrewed Mr. Beer red ale recipe I did about 2 or 3 months ago.

Re: What are you drinking?
A nice mix of my homebrews tonight, I have 9 to choose from. Right now I drank a Nut Brown, it usually doesn't have that much head, but I did a bad job of pouring and I am usually very good at the pour.
and the final out come, on to the next..........

Now a Lawn mower de saison, No I didn't mow any lawns tonight but I did work on my Father-in-laws mower and I think that counts for a Lawn mower beer.

I kicked back earlier and listened to some Pink Floyd while drinking a Session Black Lager, it was time well spent.

Re: What are you drinking?
Rebel, did you use Ardennes yeast? My tripel started off with a lot of that bubblegum aroma at first but now after almost 9 months it has disappeared and apricot/peach aroma has taken over.
