It has the V6 but it is rated at 305 HP. All I know is it hit 80MPH half way up an on ramp (yes uphill) while it was still in 3rd gear (out of 6). The salesman with me looked nervous..but not as nervous as he looked when I checked out the cornering
Ford claims it will do 0 to 60 in 6 seconds and 101 in a quarter mile and I believe it. Yet it is rated at 31 MPG on the high way. The car was really loaded and sticker price was $30,000 and some. But with my BNSF discount and rebates I got it for $24,000 and some. I plan on keeping it until my end of days. I will always have some cheap junk car for my every day driver. The technology in this car is incredible. If I am driving down the highway on a windy day it will sense the wind and compensate as I drive without me even knowing it. I am amazed. I bought extra warranty because I don't trust all that electronic mumbo jumbo not to fail
The seats are leather and heated in the winter and I am told they cool in the summer. The rear view mirror senses darkness and goes to night mode automatically. When I open the doors it projects a really cool horse onto the ground. Totally useless but cool. The main thing is once I retire in 16 months, and want to travel, I will have a good dependable and fun car to do so in. And to stay on topic I drank lots of home brew tonight to celebrate.
