Grain mill attachment for Kitchen Aid Mixer

Has anyone tried to use the grain mill attachment for the Kitchen Aid stand mixer, to crush their grain?

I've got one, used it for a couple years. It does create a little more flour than I would like, but if u use the course setting it works good. The hopper is way too small, I am constantly feeding it. I use it outside as much as possible as it does *dust-up* the kitchen or where ever I'm doing it. If I had to do it over again, I would get a grain mil with a large hopper sold by some of the brew supply stores.
