Local Homebrew meeting

Post by Beer-lord »

Going to my first homebrew meeting tonite and I notice on their FB page is said "bring your beer". It's a throwdown now. :)
So, I'll bring some growlers and hopefully get some honest criticism. I've not met a homebrewer yet that wasn't a nice person but I'm willing to bet the more I meet, I'll find someone I can talk bad about. I might just have to talk bad about myself.

Dude....what if everybody else is thinking the same thing and YOU turn out to be THAT GUY? (That should make you self conscious)

I'm sure you'll meet a lot of nice local folks and who knows....maybe you'll do a collaboration with one of them soon.

Enjoy.

Nice! I found with my last club that everyone was nice but people have their quirks. Best part of a brew club is getting to know the other hobby's people do. Guy in the new club I am going to join has a fantastic humidor for cigars. Looking forward to trying a few of those out.

Had a ball tonite....of course the meeting part was a sleeper but the sharing beer part was amazing. My God, there must have been more than 15 gallons of beer there. All were good and a few were great. They seemed to enjoy my beers especially my session IPA and my RCE pale ale.
Friendly folks and only 1 a-hole so out of about 40 people, that's not too bad.
