Poll: BeerBorg Commercial Favorite - The Final Four

Post by Crazy Climber »

We started with 32 nominated commercial brews. Only four remain.

Vote for your personal favorite in each head-to-head matchup.

The winner of each matchup will advance to the finals.

This poll will be open for 7 days. It will close on Wednesday evening, August 13th.

In addition to your vote, feel free to reply to this thread with your thoughts on why you voted the way you did, or any other comments about the beers involved.

Great job putting this poll together, and 4 worthy beers made it the final four. The SN beers are more readily available for me here, so they get my vote. Well, that and they are really really good IMHO...

GWRC: Sierra Nevada partnered with our brew club in CT to run a 4 month long competition. It was 3 rounds. First 2 rounds were any style and the finals was a fruit/veggie style beer. Started with 40 beers for the first round, 15 for the second around and the finals consisted of the top 5.. During each tasting round the rep for Sierra would bring samples of things. It was fantastic. We did 10 different years of their bigfoot. It spanned 15 years. The older they got the more amazing they got. It was a good time and their employees are good people as well.

I was wondering how far Levitation and Little Sumpin' would go since they aren't as widely available.
Whether they go any further or not - it's a good showing for California Beers with the Final Four all being from out here!

One day to go - get those votes in!

SNPA is looking good for a spot in the finals. But the other semi-final is a real dogfight! (Don't ask me what happens if there's a tie....I haven't thought that far ahead yet. )

I voted Sierra Nevada straight-ticket. I have to admit that I've never had an interest in trying Little Sumpin' Sumpin' because I'm not big on wheat beers. But it sure gets a lot of love, here and elsewhere. Next time I'm in a mix-a-six store, I'll have to pick one up.

And it looks like beloved Levitation isn't going to go any further. Oh well, it was a good run!
