I hope yours will make it OK, with your neighbor's help. My wife and I have been away for 2 weeks (mixed business and vacation), so our air conditioner has been off. I made sure my Belgian Blond and Old Ale had reached final gravity before we left, and heat could help the Belgian. I used Coopers Australian ale yeast in the Old Ale, and its reputation says it's OK to 80 F. So I have my fingers crossed for luck as we arrive home today.

While not meaning to highjack dbrowning's post, mine did seem to get through its warm spell. Taking small samples to check refractometer readings last night, the Old Ale actually tasted OK. The Belgian Blond tasted a bit unbalanced until I recognized that I was tasting a very warm sample. The LBKs had stayed at 81 F while yesterday's high here was 98, and Wyeast rates the Belgian Ardennes yeast as good up to 85. I hope dbrowning does as well.
