New President In Da MrBeer House

Post by DaYooper »

Was over at the Mr. Beer forum and noticed for the first time in months there were new posts in the Community Drainpipe. A lot of apologizing by who appears to be the new president Rick Zich. So, not sure if Mike got fed up with how things were going or he got pushed aside due to what I am sure are greatly declining sales. Of course they are still on a "9 month" timeframe for improvements.

Looking at his LinkedIn profile it appears that he was previously VP of operations and became president in July.

They sure ran that place into the ground. Any change there is good.

I will still pop in every once in a while, but once I found the informative people here, well the rest is history. But yes this KLR is one combative sort.

Having been told he's misinformed, acts angry to newbies, and is a douche, KLR denies all of it and keeps carrying on. It kind of wrecks the place further.

DaYooper, thanks for pointing out RickZ's posts over there. Things have been so slow there that I would have missed them. It will be interesting to see if they come through this time.

Seems like the new guy (RickZ, not KLR) is saying all the right things. I'm hopeful, but it will take actions rather than words to win me over fully.

What I like is he isnt saying "this 'upgrade' is the bestest thing in the whole wide world but you people are too stupid to figure it out" like what was spewing out before but rather "this software really sucks and we need to figure out how to get things right again." Probably too late for us over here tho.

Well MrB lost me as a customer in Feb of 2013. The only reason I kept going to the site was the Borg.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
