It's a code to help you condense a bunch of text into a smaller area. It will only show the title when it loads, but when you click the "+" button to expand it, it will show the rest of the text. This is good if you have a long signature for your posts.

Right. Unless you're like Phil who wants us to read all his stuff...philm00x wrote:It's a code to help you condense a bunch of text into a smaller area. My wife emits an electronics dampening field wherever she goes that turns any computer into a worthless pile of metal and circuits. She needs to market it.Inkleg wrote:Thanks again guys, I'm bookmarking this cause I know one day I'll need this info again. Computers and me are not a good mix.
In fact if you have problems with your computer it's probably due to something I've done on my end.

OK, now Inkleg is throwing another foreign term to me...bookmarking..... please splain how that is done. I've always just added stuff to favorites. I'm sure this is a better/easier method...

At the bottom left of the page, you'll see links to subscribe to a topic, and bookmark a topic. Subscribing will send you alerts when someone replies to a thread, and bookmarking is the same as saving a thread to your favorites. Either one will help you find a thread quickly. I prefer to bookmark so I don't get alerts all the time.
Re: Okay, how do you get the "spoiler" tab to work?
Thanks again phil.... do I look up bookmarks the same place?
Re: Okay, how do you get the "spoiler" tab to work?
Yes, in your user control panel. You can go to Manage Bookmarks and find them there.

I'm having problems getting the spoiler tags to work also, and I'm usually pretty good at these things.
