Brewing license plates
On my way home last night I saw a license plate that had "IBU" in it and it got me thinking:
What would your vanity plate be? Or maybe that of another Borg member?
I think Beer-lord's would be something like:
I P IBUS (I pee IBUs) or
I P IPAS

Re: Brewing license plates
I can't top that and I'll take it though maybe Beerlord would work.

I was thinking of doing a plate here since they are very cheap to do and common but I realized anything I would put on a plate would just give cops a reason to stop me. BRWBEER or BREWBER, BRWMSTR. Don't need to give them PoPo's any more reason to pull me over then they get from my speed.

Yup...these plates really do stick out. You can see them coming from a mile out. And we are required in Ohio to have plates on the front and back of the car. Although that may be changing in the near future I believe.Dawg LB Steve wrote:AMEN to that!!!! Ohio has this special plate that lets everybody know someone's been convicted of a DUI. HOP IBU
DBL IPA
HI ABV
1060 (or TEN 60)
or for the Mr. Beer stalwarts: LBK GUY
I think RDWHAHB is the best, though.

US ALE. Or condense it to USALE. Maybe not immediately id'd as a beer plate. I guess HI ABV wouldn't be so good. How about FLOCC ON? BARLYMLT? BEERBORG for Louie. WSALE (Wandering Star Ale, my brand)
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.

Re: Brewing license plates
Some state (maybe AZ?) used to have plates that look just like the OH DUI plates. I'm sure those drivers did not like being in OH.
If I got a special plate it would be 3787-THG

Re: Brewing license plates
I already have vanity plates on my Wrangler. They say, "BAHBAH". It's a Jeep and it's black.
But I like Dave's idea: I BRU or I BRUE or just simply I BREW

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
