Re: I Have Made A Decision
I was wearing my Guinness T-shirt yesterday at an Italian festival, and all these people with macro beer in plastic cups came up to me and said "you drink Guinness?" with a horrified expression on their face... I told them yes (horror expressions continued) and then also that I home brewed (relieved expressions) - and then they asked what kind of wine I made... Horror resumed when I explained...

Reminds me of why I love living on the left coast; nobody is having events & serving shitty beers at them.

But isn't the OP on the West Coast? Or doesn't Alaska count?
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.

I am with ya, Chuck! I won't pay for crappy BMC beer. Blech. Just give me water!
However, with that said, since BMC is what's served after most running races (for free), I will drink it then. Because, well, it's free. And I never turn down free beer.

I was never a Boy Scout (and I sure ain't one now ), but I believe in being prepared.
1) Putting salt on a napkin will keep the glass from sticking to it.
2) I can open a bottle of beer with literally anything other than an apple, but then again I have never tried using an apple.
Agree with not drinking a bad beer. SWMBO and I were at a family Christmas party and all they had was MGD and Coors Lite on tap. Now, SWMBO can drink with the best of them, but I dont think she even had one glass that night, and it was MY turn to be the designated driver.

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Re: I Have Made A Decision
Like I has said in my original post, I can usually get at least a fairly decent craft beer or equivalent when I go to a bar, a bar and grill or a restaurant. It's the small town celebration beer garden style venues that I know I'm going to have a problem with.
