It's finally happening... I hope...

Post by russki »

Some of you may remember that just about a year ago I won the BOS at a local competition, and as a "prize", I would brew my recipe on a production system at a local brewery/brewpub... Well, the brewery was moving to a new location, and instead of a couple of weeks they thought it would take, it took close to 8 months! Then they had to fill their pipeline that had gone completely dry during the months that the brewery was not operational... One thing led to another... now it's been a year.

And FINALLY, I have a locked-in brew date - September 5!!! Will be brewing a large scale (I think they have a 10bbl brewhouse) of my Aurora Baltic Porter. I'm also hoping to fill a carboy or two with wort to take home, or at least get some second runnings that are normally just dumped down the drain.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they don't change their plans once again. I will make sure to take lots of pictures to post on the Borg!

That is too cool, Russki. A brewer's dream. I hope it is everything you want, and happens soon.

Well, you could just have a private party for Borg members and invite the lot of us over. I'm sure everyone but the kilt guy is fun to be around.
