#26 oh well can't improve if your at the top. Have to start somewhere. Seeing that Oklahoma on allows 3.2% ABV in beer, it's something we're not last. Our Brewery here is Prairie Artison Ales gets rave reviews from all that have been to the pub. :fedora:

I love me some Yazoo love, but I get the impression that the writer hasn't been to TN in quite some time. If outside of Yazoo, the only brewery you list is a small chain of brewpubs (Bosco's ain't bad at all, but come on), skipping the fastest growing craft brewery in the country (Blackstone), as well as a brewery rated as one of the top 10 in the south (TN Brew Works), and the Magical Power of the Living Beer (Calfkiller, home of Sergio's Ole Evil-Ass Devil Bullshit Ale), among several others, your knowledge of TN breweries is about 10 years out of date. As Linus said when this was posted in the TN beer group, "I quit reading when I saw Alabama and Utah ahead of Tennessee" (and his brewery is the one that got the love in the article).

In the Nashville/midstate extended area alone, the brewery list includes: Bearded Iris, Black Abbey, Black Spade Brewing Co, Blackstone, Boscos (local chain), Briarscratch, Calfkiller, Cardinal Brewing, Cool Springs Brewery, Czann’s Brewing Company, Fat Bottom Brewing, French Landing, Granite City Brewery (chain), Green Dragon, Honky Tonk Brewing Co, Jackalope Brewing Co, Jubilee Beer, Little Harpeth Brewing, Mill Creek Brewing Co, Mayday Brewery, Ole Shed, O’Possums, Rock Bottom Brewery (chain), Smith and Lentz, Tailgate, Tennessee Brewworks, Turtle Anarchy, Yazoo. That doesn't include places like Smoky Mountain, Blackberry Farm, Ghost River, Terminal, Chattanooga, Blackhorse, Big Frog, Moccasin Bend, Depot Street, SawWorks, Wiseacre, and others in other regions of the state. Of these, there are only a few that I'd call bad, and a handful more that are mediocre. Many are average, with a handful that are great, and a few that are quite outstanding. Our state has taken off in terms of breweries in the last few years, and continues to grow...

#2, I'll take it. I plan on taking a road trip through Oregon next year and will have my opinions of their #1 ranking at that point :D

Lots of delicious beer in WI! Lakefront is one of my all-time faves, and every time I visit Milwaukee, I take the Lakefront tour. Excellent tour, and outstanding beer!

+1 to WI and the Lakefront tour. I also did the Sprecher tour earlier this summer.
