Great news coming from Pabst

Pabst is bringing back Ballentine IPA, which was America's first IPA, brewed first in 1878. Hoping to see this on the shelves soon. It says it will be released in the Northeast in September, and may go national if it is popular. So... who's in the northeast and is interested in sending me a 750ml bottle? I'll compensate with a nice Yazoo Preservation Ale for your troubles...

EDIT: It sounds tasty to me, but I'm sure the recreated beer based on some 50's version of it is really nothing at all like what came out of those open fermenters back in the day, which I'm sure wasn't like the 50's version of it either.

That guy actually drowned in a beer vat soon after the pic was taken. Four of his co-workers jumped in to save him but he fought them off.

lol... remember the S&H green stamps? we used to shop at an a and p off vernor hwy in Detroit. they later became a farmer jack's. there was a railroad crossing at central just before it that always had it out for my dad's car. whenever it saw him coming it would wait til he was just about on it and DING DING DING (arm drops).
